Verona didn''t have its regular goalkeeper available for its Super Essex Conference girls'' soccer game against Newark Academy. But the Hillbillies made sure it didn''t matter. Controlling possession for much of the game, Verona rolled to a 3-0 victory over the Minutemen. Olivia Marino had two of the goals for the Hillbillies. Haley Tole also scored for Verona, and sophomore Claire Fitzpatrick filled in well at keeper, making three saves and earning the shutout.
