A bigger screen: Jersey Sports Now brings highlights to television | ||

For more than five years, local high school sports fans have enjoyed video coverage of their teams on Jersey Sports Now's Internet site. Starting on May 5th, you will also be able to see our great highlights on television! Jersey Sports Now is excited to announce that we will be producing a segment for WMBC-TV. The "Jersey Sports Now Flash" will run during WMBC News, which airs each weekday evening from 5:00 to 6:00.
The JSN Flash will feature a look at the day's top high school sports highlights in a fast-paced format. It is anticipated that the segment will run somewhere around 5:40 each evening. The Flash will contain abbreviated versions of the highlights seen on the Jersey Sports Now website; viewers can still see the full version on jerseysportsnow.com at any time. More than six million households get WMBC-TV's signal. It can be seen over-the-air on Channel 63, and is also carried by every major multichannel television provider. * Cablevision airs WMBC on Channel 20 in all of Northern New Jersey. It is on Channel 117 in Monmouth County and some systems in New York. ** Time Warner has WMBC on Channel 63 on many systems, including its New Jersey affiliate, but it is on a different channel on some systems in New York state. *** Comcast airs WMBC on various channels depending on system. It is on Channel 24 in the Meadowlands system, Channel 20 on the Union/Essex system, Channel 17 on the Western Morris/Warren system, Channel 19 on the Somerset system, and various other channels on other systems. |
