DePaul found itself down 21-7 early in the fourth quarter of a key Week Five football matchup against Paramus Catholic. With the Paladins also in possession of the football, things looked bleak for the Spartans. That's when a key defensive play by Massimo Aronson turned the tide. DePaul rallied to within a point, then pulled out the win on a play by Dan Kowal that has to be seen to be believed.
The 26-21 victory lifts DePaul to 3-2 on the season. Kowal also threw a touchdown pass to Dan Foesel, while Wymere Robinson had a TD run. Matt Giachinta ran for two touchdowns for Paramus Catholic. The Paladins fall to 2-3. Click play in the box at left to see the high school football video highlights. |
