The girls' volleyball match between Passaic Tech and Wayne Hills saw several shifts of momentum. The final shift decided the match, as the Bulldogs won the final seven points to pull out an exciting three-game victory. Down 22-18 in the decisive third game, Tech rallied on the serve of Kaori Suzuki, who had a couple of aces during that stretch. The Bulldogs had won the first game, 25-20, only to see Wayne Hills fight back to take game two, 25-22.
Kristina Nieves led Passaic Tech with six kills. Alina Cabrera recorded four kills, while Kayleen Acosta had three kills and a block. Suzuki had 11 assists. Heather Clapp had six kills and two aces for Wayne Hills. Jasmine Solomon recorded five kills, while Remi Hoff scored four kills and an ace. Kalliopi Logothetis had 12 assists for the Patriots. Wayne Hills falls to 3-9 on the season, while Passaic Tech evens its record at 7-7.
