VIDEO: Wayne Valley sweeps Passaic in county tournament

Wayne Valley took care of business in its Passaic County boys' volleyball quarterfinal against Passaic High School. Third-seeded Valley swept to a 25-10, 25-14 victory to advance to the semifinals.

Danny Sciolaro had seven kills for Wayne Valley. Mike Foglia recorded six kills and served four aces. Dylan Beland notched five kills for the Indians, while David Ahn and Ryan VanDemark had four apiece.

Matt Widovic recorded 24 assists and 14 service points for Wayne Valley.

Passaic was led by Jonathan Ramos and Kameron Malloy with four kills apiece. Saul Linares had 11 assists for the sixth-seeded visitors, also known as the Indians. Passaic is 8-9 overall this season.

Wayne Valley improves to 13-5; it takes on the winner of Wayne Hills and Passaic Tech in the semifinals.
