Liam Johnson completed a natural hat trick in less than two minutes to highlight the latest win for the Indian Hills ice hockey team against its top rival. The Braves scored five times in the second period to break the game open and went on to defeat Ramapo, 8-3. Johnson's three goals came in a stretch of 1:48 during the big second period for Indian Hills. Drew Lustig contributed two goals and one assist for the Braves, who defeated their sister school for the third time this season.
Ryan Andrews notched a goal and an assist, while Josh Schultz and Mike McCusker also scored. Jason Atkinson recorded three assists and Thomas Moskal contributed two helpers. Darren Gentiluomo made 12 saves for Indian Hills. Michael Lagana scored a goal for Ramapo and assisted on its other two tallies. Dalton Graham and Michael Pear also scored for the Green Raiders. Luke Mutterer had 28 saves for Ramapo, which falls to 3-10-3. Indian Hills goes to 11-3-2 and remains in first place in the Big North Conference's Liberty Stars Division.
