JerseySportsNow.com is excited to provide unprecedented coverage of local high school sports.  We’re also proud to be a part of the local community.  As part of our mission, we intend to reach out to local students.

We will be running an internship program for students interested in a career in television, print or online journalism.  Interns will not be filing papers or making coffee; instead they will get the chance to cover games, conduct interviews and write actual stories for our website.  They will gain valuable experience both in terms of future employment and for their college applications.

In addition, JerseySportsNow.com is developing a scholarship program for local high school students.  We are hoping to be able to provide scholarship funds for top interns as well as deserving scholar-athletes in the area.
