Pompton Lakes did not dominate its North 1, Group I sectional final field hockey matchup against a strong Boonton team. In fact, the Bombers had more chances in the game, but the play of Cardinal goalie Amy Cahill, and a couple of timely scores, lifted Pompton Lakes to its 12th sectional title. While the Cardinals move on to the state semifinals, its the end of a strong season for the Bombers. Click play in the box at left to see the sports video highlights.
