In the first half of a critical Week 8 football game between DePaul and Wayne Valley, the Spartans dominated on both sides of the ball, building a three-touchdown lead. But the Indians staged a second-half rally, pulling to within a score. It took a late interception by Dan Kowal to secure the win for DePaul, giving the Spartans a good shot at a home playoff game but eliminating Wayne Valley from the football post-season.
