After winning its football showdown with Butler a week earlier, Mountain Lakes wasn't about to let down in its regular-season finale against Kinnelon. The Herd dominated the contest to clinch the NJAC Independence Division title and win its 22nd straight football game, currently the best in New Jersey. Kinnelon falls to 1-8 with the loss.
