Last year, Kinnelon beat Mountain Lakes twice in boys' lacrosse, ending the Lakers' run as the state's top team. That made this year's regular-season matchup of the two teams an eagerly-anticipated contest. The game did not disappoint, as a late Kinnelon goal pushed it to overtime, but Kevin Ryan put in the game-winner for the Lakers in the extra session.
