A slow start proved to be costly for the Lakeland High School girls' basketball team in the Passaic County semifinals. Playing on the home court of their opponent, the second-seeded Lancers fell behind before rallying to within a point. But third seed Passaic Tech managed to pull away again and snag the victory.
