After opening the season strong, the Butler High School boys' basketball team faced a series of away games. The Bulldogs found the road difficult, and entered a matchup with former league foe Lakeland having lost five of six. The Lancers didn't make things easy, rallying in the fourth quarter to scare Butler. But the Bulldogs just managed to hang on, dropping Lakeland to 1-8 on the basketball season.
