State playoff position set, Lakeland had to get fired up for its regular-season finale at Northern Highlands, a game that would decide the Big North Division V title. The Lancers came out slowly and found themselves behind 14-0. But they warmed up to the task, charged into the lead, and then held off the Highlanders to capture the banner.
