Lakeland had a 14-3 record entering its second-round state boys' lacrosse game. But the Lancers hadn't faced anyone as good as Ramapo. The Green Raiders took advantage of that inexperience and posted a lopsided win, but the defeat doesn't take away from Lakeland's remarkable second varsity season.
