In the first half of its football game against Sussex County parochial power Pope John High School, Montville had opportunities to open up a sizeable lead. But the Mustangs couldn't cash in, letting the Lions stay close. Montville did grab a one-point lead in the fourth quarter, but Pope John responded with the winning touchdown drive.
