Montville's baseball team got off to a tough start to its 2010 season, but the Mustang bats came alive in a matchup with defending Group II New Jersey state champion Pequannock. Five runs in the first inning got things going and Montville never trailed en route to the big victory. It's the first loss of the spring sports season for the Panthers.
