Butler came into the North Jersey Section 1, Group I football sectional final hoping to avenge its only loss of the season. But Mountain Lakes also felt it had a point to prove despite winning the first matchup. On a snowy field, the Herd dominated from the opening kickoff en route to its second straight sectional title and 25th consecutive win overall.
