After an ice hockey regular season which saw them struggle until the final few weeks, the Pequannock Panthers hit a new gear in the Halvorsen Cup playoffs. In the cup final, Mountain Lakes rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take a third-period lead. But in a microcosm of their season, the Panthers staged a dramatic rally in the game's final six minutes, scoring four times to win the Cup for the second time in three years.
