Pequannock has been struggling at the plate, but the Panthers still managed to move into the North Jersey Section 1, Group II softball sectional final. Dana Nielsen fired a no-hitter in the semifinal against Ramsey, while Kristin Brain delivered the key hit. Pequannock will face Indian Hills in a sports rematch of the 2009 final won by the Panthers en route to their New Jersey Group II softball state title.
