For one half, Pequannock did everything right in its North 1, Group II state football playoff first-round game. The 7th-seeded Panthers dominated second seed Lenape Valley and built a 24-7 halftime lead. But the Patriots came out with determination after the break, and Pequannock couldn't stop their momentum as the game slipped away, a very tough way to end the season.
