The Passaic County softball final figured to be a high-scoring game. Finalists West Milford and Pompton Lakes both put up a lot of runs this sports season, but also had some issues preventing runs. The game lived up to expectations, and proved to be a showcase for Highlanders' junior Sara Zambelli. She blasted a pair of long home runs and even came in to pitch in the final inning as West Milford earned the softball title.
