The Wayne Valley girls' basketball team got exactly the start it wanted in its Passaic County quarterfinal matchup with crosstown rival Wayne Hills. Twelve minutes into the game the 5th-seed Indians led by nine points and had the Patriots reeling. But Wayne Valley's offense faltered, and the #4 seed Patriots pulled it together in the second half to roll to the basketball victory.
