In what the numbers said would be a close girls' lacrosse matchup, Wayne Hills raced out to a 6-0 lead on the road against Holy Angels. The Angels fought back, but the Patriots never fell behind until just a couple of minutes remained in regulation. But Izzy Kayal came to the rescue: her goal with 23 seconds left forced overtime, then she scored both Wayne Hills goals in the extra sessions to give her team an exciting sports victory.
