After a slow start, the Passaic Valley baseball team came on as the 2011 season moved into its second half. The Hornets recorded a significant victory in this matchup with league foe Wayne Hills. For the Patriots, the loss was part of a brief lull between two winning streaks as part of an 18-9 season and a shared league title.
