It was an odd season for the Wayne Valley football team. The Indians played tough against some strong competition, including wins over Paramus and Passaic Valley. But a series of close losses, including to Wayne Hills and DePaul, doomed the Indians' playoff chances and ended their streak of four straight football league titles as well.
