Wayne Valley won a league cup title and gained wins in the first two rounds of the state Public A ice hockey tournament. But in the quarterfinals against powerhouse Morris Knolls, the Indians' run came to an end. Knolls dominated play, and only the efforts of goalie Nate Kholodenko kept Wayne Valley close.
