West Milford hoped to avenge an earlier boys' basketball defeat to Paterson Eastside and advance to the Passaic County semifinals all in one fell swoop. For a while, things looked good for the Highlanders as they led at halftime. But the Ghosts rallied to pull out the victory, beating West Milford by the same margin as the first time they met on the basketball floor.
