West Milford wasn't expected to do much this year in boys' basketball, but after beating the top seed, the Highlanders advanced to the sectional semifinal again. In a matchup with Teaneck, the same team that eliminated them last year, the Highlanders led at the half, but a big spurt pushed the Highwaymen into the lead. West Milford didn't give up, cutting into the lead in the final quarter, but couldn't quite get over the hump, as its hoops season comes to an end.
