West Milford's Jim Dransfield is the 10th softball coach in New Jersey to reach 500 wins, and may be the fastest to achieve the mark. But the milestone win for Dransfield may have felt like it took forever. The Highlanders built a five-run lead, only to see Passaic Valley fight back and force a pitching change. But led by Sara Zambelli, who pitched in relief and also hit a two-run homer, the Highlanders held on to make it a softball day to remember for Dransfield.
