Under coach Jim Dransfield, the West Milford softball team has made a habit of winning the Passaic County tournament. In 2011, the Highlanders did it once again. In the final, West Milford got an early boost on a Sara Zambelli home run, then rode the hitting of Erin Witherspoon and pitching of Ashlee Gieger to the title.
