The Whippany Park girls' basketball team survived a one-point game in its first state playoff contest. The sectional semifinal against Jonathan Dayton was a far different story. The Wildcats took control in the third quarter and pulled away to the easy victory to advance to the North Jersey Section 2, Group I sectional final for the first time in a number of years.
