With Boonton star running back Andrew Regan out due to injury, Mike Reid stepped into the breach for the Bombers in their football season opener against Whippany Park. Reid had a career day, scoring three touchdowns rushing and adding one more on a long interception return. For the Wildcats, it's a tough start to what appears to be a difficult season ahead.
