A huge offensive effort by Isaiah Reyes led the way for the Bloomfield boys' basketball team in a 56-47 win over South Brunswick. Reyes scored 32 points as the Bengals won the non-league contest.

Bloomfield broke out of a halftime tie with a 9-2 run to open the third quarter. South Brunswick never got closer than three points the rest of the way.

Reyes made 13 field goals in the game, including a pair of three-pointers. Isaiah Shaw scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Essien Epps had nine points for Bloomfield.

South Brunswick, which made the trip from Middlesex County for this game, falls to 13-6.

Bloomfield is now 15-6.
