In the March Madness Tournament at the Wayne PAL, the home team took on Ridgefield Park in pool play. After building a 15-point halftime lead, Wayne held on to pull out a 68-62 win.

The game featured a big performance by Wayne's Jake Belli, who scored over 30 points. Belli got many of his points on drives to the basket, but the play of the game came just before halftime when he hit a halfcourt shot on the run to beat the buzzer.

The outside shooting of Jason Sanfillipo also was key to the win.

With the victory, the Wayne PAL won its pool and earned a bye in the playoff round of the tournament.
