The final of the 7th grade tournament at the Wayne PAL March Madness event was a back-and-forth affair. Hackensack battled the host PAL team in a game of runs, but the visitors came out on top.

Wayne led briefly in the first half and pulled within two points after halftime, but Hackensack pulled away in the final minutes to score a 67-52 victory. The final was a rematch of a game in the pool play section of the tournament, also won by Hackensack.

The champions were led by Jamir Lattimore, Jachai Belton, Rajon Brown and Ackrum.
