The Millburn boys' volleyball team improved to 12-1 on the season with a two-game sweep over West Essex. The Millers won the road match by scores of 25-18 and 25-23. Junwon Choi led Millburn with 10 kills, and also had eight digs. Max Wistanley had seven kills along with two blocks, including one on match point. Will Eschenbach and Devin Patterson added three kills apiece.
Justin Wong recorded 25 assists, two aces, and 10 service points. Drew Cohn had 16 digs for the Millers. West Essex falls to 2-6 on the season. Millburn has won 12 straight matches since a season-opening loss to Livingston. The Millers, seeded fifth in the Essex County Tournament, recently defeated fourth seed Belleville to advance to the semifinals this weekend. There Millburn will once again face Livingston, the top seed in the ECT.
